I Miss You

I fail to appreciate the beauty of the day
Nights fall mornings come but still in bed i lay
Everything turns sour not salty nor sweet
My beloved ones depart from and it all turns wrong
Memories titled in my heart and flashes in my mind
Stories that do not end and tears keep flowing

I miss gazing at the sky with you
Watching the stars as they burn so bright
Lying my head on your lap and hands on your feet
Our shadows be siding us as we walk hand to hand
The owl even witnessed every moment we were together
Nights passes but seemed like a single day to us

Roses bloom but they wilt so fast on your absence
The grass dries up as much as i long for your kiss
Nights are darker for my eyes do not see you
Walks seem too long for am all alone
Showers are too long for i have no reason to come out
No wine to buy i have no one to dine with

No day passes by without me thinking about you
Every hour counts as a count down
Never thought we will ever be so apart
Look out by the window hoping to see you coming
I want you back to where you belong
Right beside my arms and to feel your heart beat

I can still feel your familiar touch on my body
Soft kisses that pass through mine in the dark
Hands so tender i feel womanly i swear
I know you went away for the right reasons my dear one
But i know you will never forget me no you will not
I cannot wait to talk to you heart to heart
