Thomas Biggy Poems

The legend of Thomas the poet unknown,
the true feelings of whom will never be shown.
Empty words and hollow threats,
echo through the halls of a sorrowful mind.
...

The words of a child whisper in my ear,
trying to convey the message of youth.
As I listen, I cry,
when the memories of a simpler life crawl in my mind.
...

The authority stands high,
speaking of an unrevealing study.
The 'prisoners' sit,
tired and bored.
...

Hanging on the edge of control and rage,
I am faced with the boiling emotion.
Hostiility silently posseses me,
while my conscious slowly fails.
...

Listen closely, carefully.
Can you hear the screams?
They are mine.
The cries of the the lost and sad.
...

I live in fear,
and fear lives in me.
Escape is not an option,
for I am already consumed.
...

Humans are nothing,
Just echoing shells.
Our theories are flawed,
Weak and unstable.

'Tale Of The Poet'

The legend of Thomas the poet unknown,
the true feelings of whom will never be shown.
Empty words and hollow threats,
echo through the halls of a sorrowful mind.

Fear not the instability of the mind,
for its weakness is its greatest support.
Although none can detect the underlying cries,
one can only pray not to break.

To conclude this story of a depressed adolesent,
this fact I will leave for all to remember.
Through the sorrow and the anger,
a glimpse of bliss can be found for those strong enough to seek it.
