Its ocean girdled slopes untouched by violence
Sleep peacefully beneath an azure sky

Bold men sought it out,
upturning the world's corners
as they stumbled gallantly
right past it.

Hidden amongst leaves
A shy blossom turns her head
In the fading light
Lift her dark petals skyward
...

She takes the dark
Turns it into light
And my wound she heals it
Where once I was blind
...

This wooden starfish
I clutch it tightly, recall
A small face smiling
Evokes fleeting memories
...

Staring out the window
Pondering what would amount to
My heart’s true desire
That girl’s warm hand in mine
...

In the evening
All things equally are blended;
Sunlight and Moonlight
Never may hold each other
...

Ah, steel rimmed glasses!
Your mask, cold politician?
Cold War warms, blushing
Comfortable silence as you

Ah! The hand of fate
Casts his cards whimsically
Beneath a red sky
