and wave at
but I never take a step to her

and I fall hostage to my emotions again,
it’s grip grows tighter upon the beating of my heart,
and I hold on tighter to the sorrow,
that’s become all I know anymore

to see beyond what I knew
but you took my hand
and you led me to
the telescope
...

and I lose my place
and everything that made me,
the person I used to be
bleeds out of me,
...

you’ll never say.
and I’m losing things,
I never had.
and I’m falling in holes
...

You couldn’t face all the things I knew I had to say,
because you knew you had already let go, of all I hold on to
and we both knew love wasn’t a game of tug of war,
but we both pulled the strings of the others heart,

than a picture on a wall
with a story to tell
and a mouth to tell it
but we keep it concealed
...

all it took was for you
to break the ice
and I fell through the cracks
and I felt the ice
...

I never pushed you away
I just moved you aside
to save you
for a time
...

I was desperately searching for something
in the places that it could never exist
