Biography of Trey Mitchell
...poems I write because my friends ask me too. I do pretty much anything if a friend inspires it.
Trey Mitchell Poems
White Rose, Red
Take my white rose White rose, red Love everlasting Even when dead
Laying now atop the boulder Getting warm as it gets colder Never aging as time gets older Never letting the love smolder
For What It's Worth
For what it's worth I'll love you forever That will never faulter, never
Leave me then For the place that makes you happy Don't worry as I cry
Paradise never arrives It uses you There is no place to grow and thrive
I hold on my dream In the dead of night The angel wings aren't what they seem
Blue In Another View
Blue, I see the sky, you see a storm Blue, I see a river, you see a frozen form Blue, I hear the rain's rhythm, you hear a poem Blue, what I smell as salt, you smell as foam
Blue is the sky and the river Blue is the sound of rain pitter patter Blue is the rush of the sea Blue is that salty smell
I wish the world were bright I wish I could do what's right I wish all that would matter is that I can see I wish I could just sing this melody
On this day, you seem so dreary I play a charming melody And then your eyes seem cheery I keep on steady
I see it in your eyes, the pain although I try to do all I can, The words echo Your illusions bestow a false numbness, but I see your sorrow
Bind me with your chains Thrust into me, cause me pain You are going straight to my brain This loving drives me insane, I can barely restrain
I never thought it would be I The one who would break down and cry You treated me as though it was a lie I just wanted to ask you why
Demons! Hell! Murder! Witch!
I shake with fear
I bleed lifeless tears
You just sit here
And I die by yourside!
I hold on to the path I know
I follow you wherever you go!
Don't leave me stranded, no place to go
...I won't live without you.
