The Future

A future that lies ahead with unexpected obstacles,
As yesterday is the past tomorrow is the future,
The tomorrow that we can't reach but awaiting with avidity
For the tomorrow that seems so far but close with a blink of an eye.
As we day dream of the possibilities and impossibilities
Of the future that lies ahead
Reaching out through planning and preparations of another day
And even though life might bring us down but the great are those
Who keep on pushing no matter the obstacles.
Time is a sensitive resource that once lost we cannot regain,
That requires us to treat it with care and great utility skills,
As some of us grow impatience of the tomorrow that seems so far
With no clue of the out comes but still as we long the unseeable
The unexpected happens.
My future and my tomorrow shall always be bright
With those I hold dearly in my heart no matter the challenges I come across.
