There are summits of endurance to climb
And mountains of fear to scale.

I’ll meet you over the hill

Sad-hearted in the city
But I no longer drink whiskey in the afternoon;
I live through the heartbreak,
A sympathetic fool that smiles
...

One particular night
I was drifting like an aimless breeze
And walked into a 24 hour grocery store;
I saw a raven-haired woman
...

She held my hand as we climbed

The magnificent staircase of the art museum,

We snake our way
Through the city side streets
Like adorable criminals;
We prowl as sleek as cats
...

You lead me guru-like through dreams
And hallucinatory visions;
I have a panoramic-movie mind
And a heart emanating the supernatural divine.

I expect my eternity
To be staggering in the rain
In a desolate city
Where soulless women
