Valerie HutchinsonMorgan Poems
I looked for you at dawn’s new sunrise, Through sleepy hollows and moss covered trails. I looked through the pile of long buried sorrows, Searching yesterday for brighter tomorrows.
The Last Time
When a beloved one leaves suddenly Without time for last goodbyes You search your memory files Where last times are stored.
Darkness descends suddenly, A soft ebony mantle Covering the weary earth. Starlight in the heavens
Lady Lonely, keeper of secrets, stalker of the tortured mind. Refusing to leave the mocking, menacing demons behind. Weary red eyes, miss the train bound for dreamland, Awake till the wee hours holding Miss Lonely’s hand.
Surviving The Flood
Storm clouds slowly gathering, Winds whistling, howling Flood waters rushing in, rising. Foundations shaking, shifting,
Across time The moon rises With shining stars in attendance Across the calm, silent ocean
The old year disappears suddenly, Like night shadows caught unawares by sunlight.
Cuando negativo entra en el espacio(cuarto) , Usted encuentra la fuerza y la voluntad Levantarse, alejarse de la penumbra. Marcha atrás a un lugar distante en el lejano
Sweet Escape When negative enters the room, You find the strength and willpower
I looked for you at dawn’s new sunrise,
Through sleepy hollows and moss covered trails.
I looked through the pile of long buried sorrows,
Searching yesterday for brighter tomorrows.
I waited atop the steep, emerald hill,
I lingered by the glassy lake where time stood still.
I looked for you and lost myself.
I lost the one running from the ruins,
The one who vowed to never let love come in.
