Where the sun resurrects after his interim death
Where darkness first gives way to light
And life renews itself every morn

With fanciful thoughts swarming like locusts,
When my mind runs bizarre
I look for a quiet spot
To sit and jot them down

May has arrived, the season of sunshine and rain
Bringing the magic of bright tints in its train
All around are fresh and fair flowers
Peeking out from the foliage and peeping from bowers
...

Through anguished thoughts as I move
In whirling currents, when I am churned
Along Life's weary highway as I pass
When dark clouds threaten to rain down fire
...

he panted heavily
muscles twitching in his naked body
running frenzied, without looking back,
he shouted, "He is after me.... my life"

Teachers are always a venerable sort,
Happy that I belong to that ‘special’ lot,
Instilling in young ones -
newer insights gleaned,

earth turned bald
sky scrapers loom bold
waste hideously piled
toxins profusely spilled
...

As the evening shadows grow longer
When light beams ebb slowly down the West
I sit by my desk with one eye tilted to the past
The other straining into future,

Weep not dear ones, sigh no more
From all anguish, life at last set free
The vessel has anchored on its port
Cutting across waves that roar
