Early, before the sunrise
Felt somebody called me
I walked into the balcony
...
It's difficult to sustain
When the edge of failure
Is visible within the sight
...
Just like,
The blooming of the flower
The fall of the snow
The enshrouding of the cloud
...
During sleepless nights
Awakening is an illusion
Sleep is a delusion
...
On the wings of time
The journey of life,
Swings and sways
Like a water bearer's sling.
...
Sitting idle isn't prudent
There should be a start
From thoughts or experiences
...
As though black clouds cast over
As though in a storm of dust
The wind on the road
Spin and spin and inundated
...
Wake up with the morning star
Start with the daily chores
Speak to the people and
Share with the neighbours

Muktakaalu
- Anand Varala
Plants are scintillating as the stars of the sky.
...
Love, love and love, why do you pester? Love without friendship
Doesn't live; will a flower bloom in the air?
****
Walking step by step, I looked at sky;
...
I sit hours together
Days and nights
With a white paper in my front
And a pen in hand
...
Behind the closed doors
The colourful books
Organized in rows
Umpteen feelings
...
Endeavour
Early, before the sunrise
Felt somebody called me
I walked into the balcony
A pair of birds
In a lovely chat
Till then,
Flew away at once
Leaving a heavy heart
Two miniature pots
I brought
Hung in the balcony
For their nests
Next morning
I woke up before sunrise
Peeped through the window
The chirping birds
Swinging on the pots
Brought joy to heart
Soon they flew
To a hanging pumpkin
Began to make a hole
To build their own home
I was neither angry nor sad
They came closer to my heart
I appreciated their endeavour
