I run to you to be safe from this earthly battlefield that we call home.
I run to you, far away from this unjust society where success and wealth are all we are expected of, instead of the love and care that you show us oh so effortlessly, as easily as breathing.
I run to you when this cruel, never-ending life becomes to much to bear.

The Man With No Face

Run, run, run away, from the man with no face. A business suit of black, sword-sharp tendrils on his back, and leaves without a trace.
Run, run, run and hide, somewhere you think he cannot find. No matter where you hide, he'll be standing right by your side, glaring with his non-existent eyes.
He says, 'don't you fret my dear, it will all be over soon. I'll be waiting here for you.'
Run fast as you can, far away from the Slenderman. Fly high across the sky from here to kingdom come. Keep on running until you're done.

Hazel Eyes

These hazel eyes are the windows into my soul.
My indifference as well as my smile are but a mask, hiding my true self.
It is at first glance you make your judgments, but look into my hazel eyes and see me, the real me. My smile says that I am happy, but my eyes tell a different story.
