Wanda Dee Sullman Poems

A photograph can be a vehicle, into someone's past.
It also can bring tears or joy,
That will make your heart beat fast.
...

Oh, brass framed mirror, how did you after all these
Years, manage to still look so fine.
Not a scratch, or a crack, after two hundred years of time.
...

Just when there's a glimpse of
sun peaking through the
clouds.
Just when there's sign of
...

Spring is so beautiful it reminds me of you.
So filled with warmth, and brightness,
like the Sun your heart shines through.

A Photograph

A photograph can be a vehicle, into someone's past.
It also can bring tears or joy,
That will make your heart beat fast.

When I look at certain photographs, my eyes of water
stream.
for people you can't bring back,
Though only in your dreams.

You can stare at a photo, time, and time, again.
Though nothing will ever change,
The picture that their in.

If photos are the only thing you have, of the loved one
that you miss.
At least you have those memories,
For those thank God, for this.

If a photograph causes you pain,
don't often sit and stare
For you're only hurting yourself,
and causing countless tears.
