The Great Exchange

i stand in expectancy with hands held high with open heart
to pray, worship, and love God this day...
to commune with Him in spirit and truth
to let Him have His way!
for He is the Creator of all things that are made
for His great pleasure...without measure,
He alone is worthy of all honor and glory... for He is God!
He is Savior! He is the eternal King!
it is to He, the great I am, Jehovah, Father, God...
to which i humbly sing.
He created, He keeps, He rules...
by His Word, His presence, His might
He rules by reason of His right.
He is from everlasting to everlasting
the worthy, unshakable, unmoveable God from whom all blessings flow
and from whom all righteousness does trod.
and my expectancy is not in vain...
nor the praise, worship, and love
for God meets with me and we touch
and He pours out His Spirit from above... the great exchange!
