How to fill these empty spaces
The rhythm of the night, she chases
Listen to her speak in the echo of strange places
The feelings she felt when he held her crying face
Tears swell in the corners of her eyes, water cleansing
The tired mind.
Nothing can take that from her now
That smile is different, somehow
with the feverish fire in her eyes
Sweeping across the velvet blue sky, drifting along
She wants something more, cant you see she
Dreams of winning the war?
The smell of sweet jasmine enriches her soul
She takes a small drag smoke dances on the bowl
Watching for more, as she opens the door,
Is she here or there, is she anywhere, she hasn't' seen before
Or maybe it is all real, the cold hard thought didn't appeal
If this is all then where did I turn, the door on the right
Seemed to invite, the aroma of herbs delight
A feirce orange fire forcing shadows to dance the dark away
