She was wondering
Through the night
Are the legs ready
To run in fright
...
she came, calmly
Sitting herself beside me
Telling me 'Hey, I'm finally here'
Leaving that smile upon me
...
If for one moment you are told
That what you wished has gotten old
It's time gone, opportunity past
No fragment left, nothing that could last
...
The cold breeze
Giggled with joy
When it's currents of air
Further cooled the girl
...
I will open up my eyes
In the land with the cool lake
Where the Sun will beam at me
Through the trunks of trees
...
Tempt me not
For things I haven't seen
To places I haven't been
For desires, I am not keen
...
Rather obvious or not,
The World falling within
The Old Sun still shines
On a fresh new horizon
...
Never more darkness can increase my gloom
But yet my heart is wild in bloom
Excruciating senses, rejuvenating passions
Simplicity galore, no unnecessary fashions
...
I am lost amongst the crowd
With growing dreams around
That angel on the farthest treetop
With the wide grin on its face
...
At night
I gaze at Venus
Sparkling amidst the stars
Like an innocent giggling child
...
Venus tonight is quite a distance
From the beaming Moon
They both have argued maybe
Over resplendent romance
...

She Was Wondering
She was wondering
Through the night
Are the legs ready
To run in fright
Will he come to haunt
Will he come to kill
He had died a while ago
But still
Will he tear me up
And eat me
Will he just rope me up
To tease me?
Will he shout at me
For love I could not give
Will he brace my arms
And dance with me?
Will he forgive me for all
I ever did never
Will he get on with what
He never experienced before?
I am in thinking
Eyes not blinking
The farthest crow winking
Yakking at my distress
The old woman
Has come,
And lit the room..
She was wondering
Through the night
Are the legs ready
To run in fright
She was wondering
Through the night
Are the legs ready
To run in fright
