I see all in its glory in the morning light,
And the dark depths of the sadness in the crawling night.
What else do I see these days,
The only spark from the sun’s bright rays
Almost trying to miss,
A town that completes the opposite of bliss,
And nothing but ageing walls,
Separates everything from nothing at all
A lifeless street makes, the laborious chore,
With the familiar footsteps that fall to the floor,
Breathe it in with nothing but a breath of sorrow,
