Abdul Malik Mandani Poems
Tree, The Beautiful
Never is there more pleasant a sight Than a tree standing mighty and upright, Crowned with a canopy of lush green, Orange, yellow or hues umpteen.
Do you harbor a secret true? Like everyone else and me too; All of us have something to hide, Affairs we would rather set aside:
One cold, stormy and dreary night While I was long lost in my musing, There came a knocking, faint and light Yet startled me from my dozing.
The Tree Of Life
Standing at the edge of a lush cornfield, Snuggling close to a bubbling brook, this Majestic Oak tree stands upright like a sentinel guarding
That's Just Me
Oh, you do not want to know my tale, But since you insist, I guess I'll just tell, Originally from mystical India - not Rome!

A Walk In The Woods
When life in the city
becomes too much to bear,
With its winding concrete roads,
Its underpasses and overpasses,
Its tall buildings and speeding cars,
When I am overwhelmed by a sense
of hopelessness and unrelenting stress,
I retreat into the arms of Nature.
