Alison Ann Greinert Poems
Little White Cottage. (Short)
As the rain pounds down on the roof of this little white cottage, I watch as the lightening brightens up the sky with major wattage. The wind blows down on the lake causing riples and splahes, As the thunder roars, jolts, and thrashes.
As the tears stream down her face, She picks herself off the floor, Then she continues to pace, While she wipes away the tears that pour.
Somedays, I just want to make it stop. Somedays, I feel like im about to just pop. Somedays, I sit and wish for a better day. Somedays, I wish I had something new to say.
The Wind (Just A Short Poem...)
Listen to the wind, What do you hear? You'll Hear the story of my life.
As the tears stream down her face,
She picks herself off the floor,
Then she continues to pace,
While she wipes away the tears that pour.
So many emotions run through her system,
She has no clue what to do,
All she knows is that she misses him,
Even after what he has put her through.
