Poetry is my escape. I love writing and reading poems because it gets you through the tough stuff in life.

To Lose Your Sight

To lose your sight would truly be,
The most intense of tragedy.
Just think of all you would not see,
If you lost your sight like me.

All the birds flying, you'd view not,
Miss out on how the children fought.
How the trees staggered in the wind,
And how the passing drivers sinned.
