Goodbye Home

I'm amazed that, as I've grown,
I have made this house my home.
All the things that I can see
bare a subtle piece of me.
Every shelf and every wall,
from my bedroom to the hall,
and all the space that's mine today
has been loved in so many ways.

Seasons

What is it about the seasons:
How they come and go
like all the pending answers
that I'll never really know?
They keep us all unsatisfied
as our nature dictates, while the
earth mother pulls all the strings
as she patiently waits.
