I am 14 years old and I have been writing poetry since I was 12. The biggest influence on me writing poetry was my grandmother. She passed away a few months ago and some of my best poems are about her. I miss her dearly. It seems like writing poetry just comes naturally to me. Her Real Life Nightmare

She was crippled,
But only her insides were paralized,
She picked up the book of names that she was called,
And thats when she starts to realize,
That no one wants her here,
They stay far and never go near,
For she was a scrub,
Or so they said,
She had only enemies,
