My Mothers Cry

I write as if I know you,
But never quite sure who you are.
I feel the need to write you dear,
Yet the words are all too far.

It’s as if my very life depended,
Upon every key I type.
I am feeling very desperate
Sweat from my brow I do swipe.

There's no earthly reason,
To be in this state of mind,
But nonetheless I am here again,
A stranger to myself do I find.

A premeditated depression,
An anticipation if you will.
I profess my denial loudly,
As I pop another pill.
