Winter Flight

As the first leaf falls, so does the feather
The rain and the sun dwell together
Flutter away to your nest,
Your in the East and I'm in the West
Fly over mountain and fly over sea
As long as you set your pigeon free
To carry a message back to me
The trees are bare, the grass is dying
Their roots are rent by a wind that's crying
