Bala Sambo Poems
The Departure The departure is a day away, For a while you came to stay, And soon you will bid me adieu,
OH! Woman You say you don't wanna cook Come over here and have a look There is somebody who's a crook
Love To Be Myself
I love to be myself all the time, And loathe to wear mask any time. Whether I've a million or a dime, I love to be myself all the time.
Shame to the boxer, who lost a fight, He'd never dare raise-up his head. Shame to the team that staged a looser, It'd never dare rise up its head.
Hope ye always seeketh to bring for us all In the autumn or the spring you love us all Like an angel you seeketh to serve us all Living for others expecting nothing at all
Turn wheresoever I may, By night or day, I find that this is the moment, I long for with excitement.
Had I the heaven's golden ornaments And the green apples therein Unto you shall I spray them Who, but you should I love
Unlucky Sailor Fair-weather was the acme of a sailor's desire And so determined he set to capture an empire Time and tide controlled the waves of the ocean
The departure is a day away,
For a while you came to stay,
And soon you will bid me adieu,
It hurts so much to say adieu.
No sound of joy but sorrow,
When you bid me adieu ‘morrow.
Oh! How sad, how dejected I'll be,
