    Barbara,
    I read all the poems you've put on line here, and very much appreciate the grounded way in which you use images and sustain metaphors. Your sensibility reminds me somewhat of Robert Frost, who also took Nature as his book of metaphors. I hope to read more of your poems.

Being

There is always a corner that
harbors dust.
No need to search; it will collect
and make itself a force
to reckon with.
Not slowly does it happen.
Dust rushes
to accumulate,
materialize,
like wispy smoke that holds
itself together, apart
from common air,
insisting.
