“I am seething with undeniable pain,
The insides burden me with the blame.”
Alive with a disease,
Not known, more foreign and alien to this body.
Yet, still alone, afraid to bring one into the maze,
Bound upon the rage,
This is the plague festering in humanity,
Within it’s beguiling face.
Blackening, the light, with a grip on the bone.
Peal to skin, back,
See the echoing pains, ripping the mutations into its mouth.
Teeth seeking, layer by layer,
Tainting with a cunning greed,
The mind is screaming
It’s denial of the infection.
For thought is still strong,
Though the heart is weak,
The blood dripping in veins filled with this strain of disease,
It is wreaking havoc to the structure,
The heart pleading to the defenses, praying that they will hold.
But to not avail, the fiery claws push in,
Releasing such exquisite pain, excruciating in every detail,
And as it warps the heart,
The mind finds the very design amusing,
This pain all new, in this losing war,
The victor gaining speed,
Affecting every single pore,
It parts the inside so nothing could escape.
Sensation of falling and the mind can not recall why it fights,
Letting images flash,
Rewinding back time and
Finally all is just so clean,
The peace now flowing through the senses,
Giving in to the urge, pain suddenly fleeing,
As the heart faded, the mind doth follow, deep into the unconscious bliss of sleep.
