One Family

Today, I saw a news story,
It made me laugh but not at the story itself.
More towards the people leading this country.
So called leaders deporting a familyman, a father,
He had a son, whom died at war for our country.
Yet the father receives no condolences, no respect,
Rather the boot, cause he's here 'illegally'.

He's done no harm, he is no felon,
He is America's farmer, hardworking man respectively.
He's here to feed not only his, but in a way also America's family.
I tell you all this to reevaluate the way we think,
And give these humble people a chance
Who come here to eat, survive and for of course, prosperity!
Were all equal and all search for a better dream,
So next time you meet a humble kind illegal
Say to him he's not alone, for were all one family....
