Thunder In The Distance

Rating: 5.0

I love the fall of feather rain
But fear the thunder in the distance
I see the rise of planted grain
And hopeful it sways with resistance
To threatening skies of gray clouds sliding
Stealing blues and sunsets, red
I love the cool of showers, sweetness
But hate the lightning, overhead
