Treading through the wet woods, her foot slipped
The spine-chilling thought of solitude from her soul did trip!
And the moment she lost her footing was hushed, quiet and calm
Her eyes got cemented to her forehead sensing that fiend's palm!
He sealed her tongue with his creepy sinuous hands
Downtrodden, demoralized she felt when he called his gang and bands!
Endless effort from her side could do nothing of those unceasing wills
Then was the time, she failed to recall the Humanity's songs and all the trills!
Fighting to have the foothold, her heels ached and she cried her soul out
Then was the time, to be a part of ‘humankind' sprang up the doubts!
Lagging, combating, falling behind and hanging back
She felt unsighted, blind as the entirety set was so dark and black!
A flood of tears dampened her butter-soft cheeks
She was seven-years-old, give or take a few weeks!
Throwing that tiny little, sinless flower wilted in the pile of trash- the waste
Could that be the dream-bed she was supposed to be placed?
Secured? She would never feel, not in this world for sure
But yes, being a magnetism of attraction and charismatic allure!
Benevolence is beyond doubt the prevalent wanting
Or else on Earth, you'll see engraved ‘A haunting…! '
