Shake a blanket, shake a blanket...
what do i have in store?
heed my warning, hear me roar...
Silence preludes the imminent rage.
Earths anger encased in a man made cage,
asphalt splits, a gaping wound
Man staggers like a drunken sot,
as trinkets tinkle and precious items drop.
Sirens blazin, bells toll.. as chasms open to the gates of hell
Seismic waves ripple like passions chorus.
Surging the strata, recoiling from the bowels.
Shaking off the burden, it wears like a cloak,
the manmade structures that cause it to choke.
Paper houses and thousand year tree's
slide to oblivion leaving only the seed
Earth melts as it looses it's grip,
engulfed in flows of quicksand.
Plates grinding in a magma core
sends vessels hurtling to the shore.
Harbour waves surge ten stories high,
cleansing the debris, purging the sty,
leaving limbs jagged, upright, abrupt
As the land reclaims it's own
