Her hair as black as death Her skin as white as pearls Her body sculped by the master Beauty surrounds her
Man In The Sky
The crack in the ocean Is where I lay The oceans vultures Eating away at me
No emotions No more guilt I can't trust myself My mind changes
Put me on a leash And call me yours Let me loose Or pull me close
Painting the picture Doesn't start small The picture is large Complicated
Your a liar A cheater A stealer You know no boundaries
Flicker in the night Don't look Under my bed In my closet
You struck me hard You struck me deep You stuck me fast You made it last
The morbidity The pain staking truth The vacant lies Found in our emotionless lies
I find myself spinning Spinning in circles If I could stop I would This vicious cycle of no regret
I scream breathlessly, I've been screaming. Wondering where you've been. I'm at your house knocking,
If for just one moment, You would let me touch you, I would take a life time of pain away. If for just one moment,
Beneath that darkened sky,
There is a path.
The path is rocky, yet smooth.
Damp, yet dry.
This path remembers,
It remembers our failures,
And our successes.
This path shows us mercy.
