The Wind

IT WAS JUNE 3RD 1965 MY NIGHTMARE WIND TOOK MY SLEEP
PUSHED THE GOOD MARY-KAREN DREAM AWAY AND SHOWED ME
ONLY DESPAIR, I COULD DEMAND NOTHING, I WAS
NO LONGER IN CONTROL OF MY DREAMS
THE DARKNESS AND MONSTERS OF THE WORLD TOOK OVER
I HAD NO SAFE HAVEN FROM MY DAY OF DESPAIR ANY MORE.
HE SHOWED ME MY LIFE OF FAILURE AND JUST A HINT OF MY SAVIOR
AND LAUGHED AN EVIL LAUGHED, IT STUCK ME FUNNY THOUGH
THAT EVIL WAS MALE AND THE GOOD A LADY IN EVERY WAY.
