Simply Waiting.

Have you ever felt a tug of longing?
Did you ever do anything to slake the thirst that desire wreak?
And yet, we sit back and receive life only,
Receive it's pleasures and complain all the while,
Never actively seeking those magical baubles of which we dream.
You say, I've waited for so long yet, that only a bit longer is no wait at all.

We angrily blame our procrastinating nature, our cowardice,
We want, but do nothing to pursue these things,
