Bewildered and thoughtful, unaware;
Perhaps life was never taking me anywhere,
Four walls and a window, alone and on my own,
With me and myself a hundred battles won.
Silent nights and lazy days,
Pondering over life and its million ways
Wine and music filled the heart
There had never been a friend to part.
Endless parties and eventful evenings,
But had none to share the heart’s feelings,
Gazing the sky, counting the stars,
Speaking to myself and the walls.
Then finally came a day,
Life had finally shown me the way,
There she was in all her glory,
Adding a twist to my story.
Solitude was never to be seen again,
Nor did I feel the heart at pain,
Never did I ever feel so better,
She gave me wings to fly,
Never gave me a reason to cry,
Divine and loving, an angel she was,
Elegant and caring, beautiful and graceful;
Every minute now gives me happiness,
Place and time have no more meaning,
