I Will Run No Further
Nigeria, a land where the soil is fertile but the grasses are stunted. A land where the smiles of the people depicts sadness and the cry of the poor brings joy to the rich. A land where condemnation of killings from a leader in front of a camera is an obligation. A land where bomb blast sounds like matches strikes.
We sleep through the Night,

All because we re chasing a destiny during the day
Being too careful and avoiding going astray
Gathering wealth like pieces of clay,
And hoping that the present day will be counted as “yesterday”.
