Colette Reed

Pink Savior

Desperately I search,
for him for my heartbeat.
He's gone nowhere to be found.
Suddenly I see him, but as I reach for him
he blows away like a summer breeze.
No trace not even his smell lingers.
I clasp my fingers hoping to feel him there,
but nothing but solid liquid air.
I dropp to the ground and take it in.
