Comte Valois Poems
If Dreams Could Become Reality
Sometimes it's so hard letting go And tonight I just want you to know That I am staying strong and proud somehow I just wish you could see me now
I'm no true hero I'm just making a sacrifice I love you And I'm doing what I think's right
Wait For The Night And A Cloudy Sky
You claim I'm a thief, that I stole your heart That I took it right from you, and tore it apart Well I may have a talent for stealing what's not mine But destroying a life isn't my kind of crime
I can hear the thunder But I think it might rain fire It's the middle of Winter But it's starting to get brighter
You are the most beautiful girl I've seen You are the one who completes my dreams One look in your eyes and my heart beat anew A fresh new start, all just for you
I sit here gazing at the world so blue And as I stare I wonder, 'Will I miss you? ' The loneliness here is getting to my head I have to face alone what lies ahead
I sit here gazing at the world so blue
And as I stare I wonder, 'Will I miss you? '
The loneliness here is getting to my head
I have to face alone what lies ahead
I watch the clouds form and dissipate
To such beauty I can almost relate
I see in them what I once saw in you
A piece of perfection, tried and true
