Biography of conor o gara
i am the eldest of ten children. i started writing poetry at the age of 17 and have now written around 150. i had 5 poems and one short story published in the self-published 'echoes of the west' in april 09. my poems are about a wide variety of subjects and all rhyme. i self published my own book in july 09 containing 5 volumes and over 100 poems. both seamus heaney and damien dempsey the irish singer/songwriter have read it. seamus heaney described it as 'the vivid diary of a soul spontaneous and alert to language full of zest'

The grass is always greener on the other side and it’s much easier to go with rather than against the tide. But do be strong and make a stand. Be able to say NO and tell temptation where to go. Don’t give in or out to anyone especially those who say; “come on its great fun” Its just an enticing trick and the first time will lay the foundation

There are a lot of words that rhyme with it in the dictionary But what does it mean to me? I read today in the paper That it overheats and melts

that’s how it creeps up on you
this feelin of lonely.
Empty house deserted streets
Your mobile phone not making any beeps
Than it arrives as quick as that,
And it covers your head
