I shot an arrow into the air,
It fell to earth, I knew not where:
For so swiftly it flew, the sight
Could not follow it in its flight.

At the end of my bed, she stands,
Darker then the shadows
Moonlight pulling her innocent face
From the darkness behind

It was a whisper, still and quaint
It was a secret, silent and in wait
Until the time came when the world fell
Cracked on the floor and released from its shell

I await moon's rise
I prepare with such morbid thoughts
Eroding into this eternity of sin
I am darkened soul captive of an embrace spell
...

Breath laboured
Sensations a blur
Vision bleak, marred by
A thick cloud of film
...

Now is not the time....
Now is not the place....
I'm just another ugly face in the crowd....
So don't come any closer,

To the world I am like a falling star,
That unto mother earth I am drawn,
Falling through the emptiness of space,
Into the arms of the earth I fall,

It's like a flamin' maze out here
where I'm looking for a name,
where hawthorn hedges line the fences,
and the crossroads look the same.

Pretty green eyed succubus
Cherry-lipped vixen
come dance in the darkness with me
...

I entered the Red Dragon
a tired weary soul
And ordered for myself a flagon
to warm me from the cold
