Again I must reiterate because it has been a year and a half since I last visited the work of this great Filipino poet. Your poetry is exquisite, and the common man can find real nurturing and guidance by reading it.

I am sorry that you do not allow messages to be sent to you. I think you are a great and insightful poet. I recently read your poems on aldo kraas and I totally agree. I wrote him and told him so and he took a dim view of what I said. also calling you a few choice names. keep up the good work.

That is why i am writing you here....Thank You very much for your quite legthy visit to my work, (late last night where i am...mid-tues. morning where you are, yes?) as well as your far too kind comments. It is now almost 4am here, in New York City, and i need to catch a few zzzzz's before i shoot back to work....However, i am looking forward to enjoying your artistry, Cynthia...and as it stands right now, i will have the rare luxury of basically doing what i please all Wednesday evening, and early Thursday(N.Y. The Eyes Are Windows

The eyes are windows of the heart
Wherein transparency will show
A myriad feelings to impart
From where in sadness, tears do flow.

The eyes will say contents of heart
The speech two lovers freely speak,
For Silence eloquently starts
Romance in muted communique.

The eyes are windows of all cares,
Display the sad and wearied soul;
Distant looks and empty stares
Reveal a man who is not whole.

His weak attempts to somehow hide
What's clearly felt and seen-
Will showcase all the stuff inside
Deep secrets of where love had ...

What Is Poetry Really?

Writing is a craft that needs skill like carpentry,
Like trying to build a poem using words creatively.
There must be exquisite care in the verbal choice
For just like a house, each part has its own voice.

Writing a poem is more than words put into play,
Tossed here and there, with meanings in disarray.
While anyone can write varied words randomly,
A poet is one who can use them to create imagery.
