Dale Mouscos Poems
I'm getting much older, it's getting so clear, At least by now I thought I'd have a career. I was doing so well at one point in time, I kept myself safe and away from most crime.
So I'm sitting at home just waiting around, If the doorbell rings, I'll hear that sound. Maybe he'll think a surprise would be nice, Maybe he won't cause he needs advice.
Hurts So Good
When things are good, they really are great, You get so excited that you don't want to wait. Everything seems to be going your way, You cannot imagine the very next day.
One In A Million
I can not stand to see you hurt, If it makes you feel better you can borrow my shirt. You're a wonderful person inside and out, But the way that you're feeling, what's that all about?
A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes
In response to your opinion, as I cannot let it slide, The truth is stuck between us, but at least I never lied. The severity of your choices have broken us apart, Did you ever think that I didn't have a heart?
When you were sick, I helped you get well, I got you to school before hearing the bell. I lent you my clothes when you had nothing to wear, And I made you feel better by doing your hair.
For What It Is Worth
I can not explain myself very well, But from the feedback I'm getting, it is not hard to tell. Your mind is biasing negative conversation, Cause for everything I do, you refuse confirmation.
The Power Of Somebody Else's Mind!
It's mind over matter I think we all know, But who is to say how far that will go. When things are repeatedly engraved in your head, It's hard to control how your mind is mislead.
Reality In Denial
Dad, I'm a failure, I couldn't make it right, The drugs and our differences are making us fight. I tried to warn her like you did for me, But no matter what I do, she refuses to see.
So I'm sitting at home just waiting around,
If the doorbell rings, I'll hear that sound.
Maybe he'll think a surprise would be nice,
Maybe he won't cause he needs advice.
The way that we've bonded once before,
Gives me hope that he'll walk through the door.
Maybe my waiting is pathetic and lame,
We obviously do not think at all the same.
I wonder why he does not think that way,
