Peace On Earth

In a corner of France is a gravestone,
A soldier unknown, is the honorary shown,
It represents all of the fallen brave,
Who fell like skittles, in that stark enclave.

The Victoria cross, the Crois De Guerre,
The Iron Cross, and the Lenin Bear,
Symbols awarded in the absurdity of war,
To encourage and nurture an espri du Corps.
