  • ''Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish been caught will we realise we cannot eat money.''

  • ''Mrs. Margaret Thatcher had stated, more or less, the problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

I believe human beings are social (interconnected and interdependent) beings by nature. And I do expect that their institutions (societies and governments) would benefit humanity and not just the elites and super elites (bankers, energy barons, etc.) only. A solution, Mrs. Thatcher, would be to print more monopoly money especially for the benefit of the elites. Look around; it's en vogue globally. And the problem with just socialism is unchecked and corrupt capitalism.

Capitalism and socialism have their virtues for the sake of humanity. The key is balance and moderation. The environment must be preserved and not destroyed for the pursuit of profit. Prioritize people before profit. And limit the net worth of individuals or families to ten million dollars (US) . This will help to eliminate gross inequality, racism, greed, and poverty in the world.''

  • ''A nation that continues year after year, to spend more money on military defense than on programs of social uplift, is approaching spiritual death.''
    Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
  • ''I am not I.

    I am this one
walking beside me whom I do not see,
whom at times I manage to visit,
    and whom at other times I forget;
who remains calm and silent while I talk,
and forgives, gently, when I hate,
who walks where I am not,
who will remain when I die.
    *****

P.S. I am currently living an awful dream. My hope is this dream will end soon. May Lord GOD help me. Thank you, Lord GOD! Amen! : -)
    *****''

The Quest

I am an ant (or a number theorist) looking for the greatest happiness in small things.

I am king of a great kingdom looking to expand my empire so that I
may find the greatest happiness wherever it may be.

I am an astronomer looking the farthest the eye and machine can see
into the depths of the heavens for it as well.

Hmm. I'm just a simple monk on top of an anthill in an orchard of a great kingdom beneath the heavens on a full moon night.

And I am enjoying the eternal bliss from within.

A Wake-Up Call

As I pace back and forth along the plank of life,

Death whispers solemnly in solitude.

'Hear me old fool of folly as I draw to my realm

So that you're no longer so...'

I pause and I realize the length at best

Is a shortening shortened end!
