I am editing a manuscript written by my 77 year old brother, his life story for his grandchildren. He would like to use your poem Future and Success at the beginning of one of his chapters. He is self-publishing. May we have permission to use the poem. Please contact me at ztnoble@icloud.com. Thank you.

Congratulations on the Outstanding Achievement Award and here's hoping the latest novel gets in print. What an honour for a writer!

I read one of your poems and I wrote a comment saying that if you became a poet once I would buy your works. I did not know you actually were one already. I just became a member of this website, though I love poetry. I also love music and reading all types of books, so I'm going to read your novels too. One thing I loved about your poems is that I felt a really nice connection to it. Keep writing, though you just gained a fan!

Just Beyond The Sunset

Just beyond the sunset
Someone waits for me
Just beyond the sunset
Lies my destiny
Where the purple mountains
Lie in deep tranquillity
There I’ll find the treasure
Of love eternally

Just beyond the sunset
Waits someone so fair
Just beyond the sunset
All alone they wait there
Their hair is golden
The colour of the sand
Their eyes sparkle in the night
Like diamonds in your hand

Just beyond the sunset
Lies a home for me
Where the world is peaceful
Like a paradise should be
Just beyond the sunset
Someday is where you’ll find ...

Faded Love Letters

An old shoe box under the bed,
filled with mementoes of years gone by.
Faded love letters stained with tears,
I used to cry.
They tell of the joy I knew one spring,
of laughter and fears.
And of the love we said would remain,
throughout our growing years.
The spring is gone and so are you;
