Upheaval and change
Challenges and knowledge
Schoolwork and Homework
Tests and Quizzes
...

Every action and word has its context and has its place
It can mean the world to hold hands, to hug, to touch at all
Or it could mean absolutely nothing, the context defines everything
I dreamed day and night of the next time I could embrace my love
...

I wonder who I am
And who are you too?
...

Often I find myself saying what I do not believe
The kind of words that hang in the air, they do not leave
I say things until they sound true
Until I have the guts to see them through
...

It is baffling how feelings surface...
It feels like love in seconds, but what is it really?
SImply a longing to chase?
They cannot be real feelings because how can you love
...

I don't know if I'm allowed to write this
But the damage is done, now even if I simply reminisce
This comes to mind, the poem is engraved on my mind, well for now
Engraved and etched in raw emotion

Back to the old ways
It's been days
Since pen has tasted paper
Days since soul and heart thought together

You make my life so serene
Someone to make a small light in dark
Your comfort warms my heart although it’s unseen
Your light in such stark
