A pocket of dreams gone soggy
Washed in the laundry of life
Drawn out and stretched
In the crisp morning air to dry

The chains of life are getting heavy
They wrap around me, far too many
Cutting deep into my purple bleeding skin
Pulling so tight they're growing within
...

There’s a ripping pain so deep inside
I haven’t a corner within me to hide
It’s tearing shreds from my very soul
Leaving me in bits, nothing left whole
...

A lonely soul choosing to be lost,
secretly wishes to find a home,
so that it may be found…..
...

The transitional dragonfly
Flies inside of me
Little dragonfly
So small and frail
...

Silver white sands spill from my hands
As they flow the grip tightening shows
They cannot be contained, they cant be owned
Each individual, yet collectively as one
...

Oh little sea shell I see there upon the sand
How I wish to lift you up into my hand
To add to my collection with great desire
Take you away with me to always admire
...

I have died on the inside
endlessly waiting for the shell to follow
No one cares about this long lost soul...
its just sitting in this darkness withering away....
...

Today I saw a rose shed its delicate tears
Shiny crystal droplets falling from the petals
Shimmering against the sun light
Rainbow colours grace the glow, beauty with sadness
...

Fill your heart not with pain and sorrow,
but remember me in every tomorrow.
Remember the joy, the laughter, the smiles,
I've only gone to rest a little while.
