Amazing Grace Beyond Amazing Grace!

The risen Saviour walked on Earth despite the cruel cross,
Because through death, Christ proved His worth in everything He was.
Now was the time to meet His friends, yet Thomas wasn't there,
Because he thought that when life ends, What use is there in prayer?

My word, if only I could write,
What tales this mind could tell,
Yes, I would write by day and night,
About Heaven and Hell,

God's Gift! New Testament, Psalms And Proverbs!

These three I've found my constant guide, as God brings these to mind,
Because they build my faith inside, and could for all Mankind.
To think, that we abide on Earth and yet God dwells above,

God Is Love And Love Is All

When I first saw her beauty shine, I sensed my lonely heart would pine!
As courage melted fears away, I talked to her that very day.
How could I touch her fingertips or even kiss her perfect lips?
How could I hide the love inside from one I prayed would be my bride?

My Earnest Prayer!

My earnest prayer is not for self, for me and me alone,
But Mum and Dad, for health and wealth, as love for them has grown.

Just One Perfect Poem Can Change The World!

A beautiful young lady looked at herself in the mirror, and she appreciated that she looked so beautiful, yet that was not something that she had to work hard at. She washed and dried her face ever so gently to help maintain the condition of her beautiful skin. She was more careful concerning her eyes. She got her beauty sleep and received all its benefits accordingly. Her hair was like a cascading waterfall. She nurtured it as if it were a fragrant flower in her garden. The clothes she bought for herself were a mixture of high fashion and casual for when she returned home again.

She was, in effect, a beauty deserving of her portion of praise. Even so, not even one young gentleman had ever courted her or sent her a Saint Valentine's card or a heartfelt poem as a declaration of love. So one day, she sat down at her desk and used her computer to write herself that wonderful poem, as if some filmstar celebrity had seen her and fallen head over heels in love with her!

A Declaration Of Love!

I am a famous filmstar who saw you yesterday,
And so I wondered if you are the one for whom I pray.
Was it your hair that shone so fair? Was it your winning smile?
All I could do was stand and stare, then stay there for a while.

The Joy Of Reading And Writing Books!

Why stand and stare when books are there, right there within your reach,
With wondrous tales beyond compare and others meant to teach?
With characters that make you smile or cause your heart to stir,
Just choose to sit down for a while to learn what may occur.
