Denzil Straight Poems
Darkest Deepest Nite
Written 6/26/99 In the darkest deepest nite M'Lady Josephene did come to me.
As The Sun
As the sun gently falls and the moon starts to rise. So to does the Passion of the night. The moonlight settles on the snow, bathing it with its soft glow.
Who Roams These Halls
Who roams the halls of my keep, in the darkness? She passes by a window and I see.
I long only to relax with you beside me always. Never to part in all our glory. Though love eternal never dies. I know we someday must.
As The Sun
As the sun gently falls and the moon starts to rise.
So to does the Passion of the night.
The moonlight settles on the snow,
bathing it with its soft glow.
It makes the land appear to
be covered with Diamonds my love.
The sparkle of the moonlight on the snow,
does not even compare to the
sparkle in your eyes.
