Biography of Devon Tremblay
I was into all of the wrong things, when I thought there was no hope I found Jesus and I had asked him to come into my heart. I now write poetry and songs for my saviour as much as I can to the top of my ability. Recently I have been receiving a lot of discouragement from friends and I decided it was best to turn to God and receive his encouragement. With that I have decided to write more poems and songs for his glory...
Devon Tremblay Poems
Old Father Time
The seconds are ticking away And the minutes are crawling behind me Time is running out We've all been set to self-destruct
I feel nothing... I see crying... I hear sobbing... Lost Hope..
Open Your Eyes
Oh, This is old My heart is getting cold Our feet will be numb This joy we must succumb
All I Think
Have our eyes ever locked Do you think my kissing sucks I've got reasons and excuses But all I think about is you
Hand Grenades As Sparklers
How can I wake up if there are shadows among my eyes How can I give love if everyday I want to die Release me from my chains Made of Broken Lead and Hurtful Names
Postcards From Home
I'm traveling at a Steadfast pace I'm gaining ground Enclosing this space This distance can grow on
A game filled with disdain The Only time I seclude the Pain You desecrate the ruins you repeat all your Sins
The Blessed Resistance
Beg on your Knee's, Come on baby please, You're the Cure to my Disease! Hear Me God, Is this what you want?
All At Once
I carry on this way so lost and so astray will I find my way? I carry on this way
Time so withering It takes an extreme effect On my sweetened soul It is filled with rust and dirt
Open sails catch the wind Sinners lie about their sin Calamity will leave a stain
I'm set free Yet I feel diseased An all consuming cancer Eating away at my feet
Wake Up! Stand Up! Throw Up! You have given yourself up Come back to me Open your eyes, we can tell you are diseased
Used For More Than Hurt
The sun rises and the sun sets Yet we all seem to forget It hurries around to rise again To shine light and to wash my sin
I feel nothing...
I see crying...
I hear sobbing...
I feel pain...
I see redness...
I hear bawling...
