Or sex, community or nation, state;
An act of God, man, Nature none can gauge,
That brings both high and low to the same fate.

Build God, a place to worship Him;
He will build your house for you;
Give God, the tithe that’s due to Him;
He will find new shepherds for the flocks!

O God, extend life-spans of people good;
The growing evils must be annulled fast;
The world is seeing heinous crimes, shed-blood;
The innocent lives mustn’t be easily lost.

The beauteous butterfly’s body and wings,
With printed riot of hues and designs,
To mind and heart of human beings brings
The Maker’s marvelous feelings and signs.
